Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate both the promise and the limitations that Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents in this area or recruitment for screening and matching the candidate profile for the open positions . The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive review of present AI-driven recruitment strategies by drawing on material from academic and professional sources. This study investigates the benefits and drawbacks of using artificial intelligence (AI) in the recruitment process such as screening and candidate matching, as well as analyses the effectiveness of numerous AI-driven recruitment strategies. Techniques for recruitment that are driven by artificial intelligence, such as social media screening, video interviewing, Chabot’s, predictive analytics, Gamification, and resume screening, have the potential to provide significant benefits to businesses. The use of these methods results in cost reductions, increased productivity, identifying high potential candidates, avoid bias and the identification of better prospects. The research highlights the need of doing more research and development. This is necessary in order to ensure that AI-driven recruitment tactics are successful, unbiased, and in line with ethical and legal standards. The significance of the research lies in the fact that it investigates artificial intelligence (AI) in the context of recruitment in great detail, assessing it from both academic and business perspectives, and evaluating the benefits and drawbacks, including ethical and legal considerations.
